PAF outplay Bahawalpur

RAWALPINDI, Oct 31: PAF outplayed Bahawalpur by 6-4 1/2 in a high goal match of the Phoenix Security Service Polo Cup at the Rawalpindi Race course here on Wednesday.

Abdul Sattar Raja (3), Cpl Tech Tauheed Ahmed (2) and Samiullah (1) set up victory for PAF while Bahawalpur efforts revolved around Capt Omer Minhas (3) and Capt Haseeb Minhas (1). The losers had a 1/2 goal advantage.

In a low-goal encounter Sialkot edged past ASC 6-5 with Swr. Muhammad Afzal (3), Maj Ijaz Ahmed Qureshi (2) and Agha Bilal (1) taking the scoring honours for the winners.

For ASC GC Shayan Abbasi (3), Capt Sami Itrat (1) and Brig Ulfat Hussain (1) were the scorers.

PBG defeated Floydian 4-3-1/2 in another low goal match. Capt Shaukat Ali Malik put in all four for the Bodyguards while their rivals who had a 1/2 goal advantage scored through Syed Mustafa and Syed Munib, both of whom had a goal each.
