GUJRAT, June 17: Unidentified robbers looted a wagon, snatched two motorcycles, cash and valuables in five different incidents in and around the city during the last 24 hours.

The wagon, on its way to Qadirabad from Mandi Bahauddin, was intercepted by six robbers in the limits of Qadirabad police station on Sunday night. They snatched cash and valuables worth hundreds of thousands of rupees from passengers. A clerk of Mandi Zakat and Usher office, who was carrying cheques of Rs280,000, was among the victims.

Two masked robbers snatched Rs1,000 in cash and a motorcycle (SGB-3217) from milkman Shabbir Shah at pistol point near Jorra Karnana, Lalamusa.

Three armed highwaymen deprived Asif of his motorcycle near Hajiwala chowk, Karrianwala.

Four masked bandits took away Rs4,500 in cash from wagon driver Imtiaz on the GT Road near Theekarian, Lalamusa.

A passer-by, Naeem Butt, was relieved of Rs4,000 in cash and a golden ring by two robbers in Sadhu Mohallah, Jalalpur Jattan.
