Budget for Karak presented

KARAK, Oct 31: The district Nazim Karak presented budget for the financial year 2001-02 at the district council meeting held at Town Hall here on Wednesday.

According to budget figures, no new tax has been imposed in the Rs51,04,84,000 budget, in which Rs9,68,34,000 have been allocated for developmental schemes, Rs41,36,50,000 have been shown as non-developmental expenditure, Rs5,93,96,000 have been allocated for on-going schemes, Rs45,97,000 for SAP and Rs2,38,49,000 for Khushal Pakistan Programme.

The post-budget session would be held on Thursday which was likely to be attended by all members.

They include Samina Khattak, Nazim union council Bahadur Khel, Zardad Khan, Umer Khitab, Nazim union council Minaki Banda, Hakeem Badshah, Nazim union council Nari Panoos, Rasool Jan and Nazim union council Taak Chuntra.
