Sherpao pins hopes on Loya Jirga

PESHAWAR, June 13: Former NWFP chief minister Aftab Ahmed Khan Sherpao has said that the Afghan Loya Jirga will help provide an effective administrative machinery for achieving the objectives of the Bonn Agreement.

In a statement, issued here on Wednesday, he expressed the hope that the Loya Jirga would chalk out a modus operandi for Afghanistan’s future administrative setup that would represent the whole Afghan society.—APP
