PESHAWAR, June 13: The local Nazimeen have demanded of the NWFP government to ensure the recovery of Sakhi Jan, kidnapped four months ago, otherwise they will stage a protest sit-in in front of the Governor’s House on June 28.

Speaking at a joint news conference at the Peshawar Press Club, Wazir Bagh Union Council Nazim Malik Noor-ur-Rehman, Yakatoot Union Council No. III Nazim Haji Mohammad Shah and Yakatoot Union Council No. II Deputy Nazim Noor Jamal Afridi alleged that Said Karim, resident of Speen Kamar, Bara, had kidnapped Jan on Feb 17.

They lamented that despite the lapse of four months, the political authorities of the area had failed to recover him.
