SHIKARPUR, June 12: The DPO, Shikarpur, Nadir Hussain Khoso suspended and registered a case against three police officials including the SHO of the Garhi Yasin police station on charges of helping a dacoit, M. Ibrahim Kakepoto, to escape from the police station on Wednesday.

The SHO, Abdul Sattar Bijarani, slipped away from the police station. He was suspended along with two other officials, ASI Sobdar Khan Korai and WPC Roshan Ali Soomro.

The dacoit was wanted by the police in many heinous crimes.

ATTACK CONDEMNED: Members of the Nusrat and Dad irrigation divisions, Abdar, and Canal Assistant Association (Sukkur, Hyderabad, Larkana, and Mirpurkhas) condemned the attack on the XEN, Nusrat division, Ameer Bux Khushik, at a meeting of its members on Wednesday. The meeting was held under the chairmanship of its general secretary, Sindh, Arbab Ali Mari.
