HAMBURG, June 10: No sale has yet been made in the Pakistan government tender for the sale and export of 100,000 tons of soft wheat, European traders said on Monday.

Top bid was $103.50 a ton fob Karachi made by two local agents of foreign buyers, traders said.

“They have not sold as yet and talks are likely to take several more days,” one trader said.

Bidding was considerably below the previous Pakistani export sale in April made at $105.10 a ton fob Karachi.

The tender, being held by state grains agency Trading Corporation of Pakistan, had closed on June 6.—Reuters
