SANGHAR, Oct 30: Three armed persons hijacked a taxi after tying the driver.

The taxi was hired from SRTC taxi stand on Tuesday for Nawabshah.

When it reached near Chak No. 22, the occupants slipped out their pistols, took control of the vehicle, tied the driver Ali Nawaz Khaskheli and threw him in the bushes and took away the taxi.

After hue and cry by the victim, people untied him and informed the Sinjhoro police.

The police went after the robbers but still were clueless.
