Defaulters attack bank team

TOBA TEK SINGH, June 6: Two loan defaulters and accomplices attacked an Agricultural Development Bank of Pakistan recovery team here on Thursday.

Reports said the bank staff visited Aneesur Rahman and Khaliqur Rahman to recover the loan but they refused to pay the same and threatened them with dire consequences. They also attacked the recovery team and snatched some documents from its members.

A case has been registered on the report of ADBP’s branch manager Chaudhry Ashiq Ali.

DACOITY: One Akbar Ali of Chak 325-GB was deprived of car by two dacoits on the Pirmahal-Shorkot Cantonment Road near Chak 312-GB, railway level crossing, on Thursday.

Chuttiana police have registered a case.
