ISLAMABAD, June 6: Three Kazakh women, who allegedly had been abducted and were kept in Kohat district, were flown back to their country after being recovered by a joint police party of Kazakhstan and Pakistan.

The three women, whose names were being kept secret by the police, met a group of young traders of Lahore and Karak in Kazakhstan.

The men allegedly offered employment to the three women which they accepted and came to Pakistan. Soon after reaching Islamabad, the women were taken to Lahore and then Kohat where they were detained.

Police sources said out of the three women, one or the other, managed to convey to their relatives the situation they faced in Pakistan. In turn, the relatives complained to their government which sent a police party. The police party of Kazakhstan reached Islamabad last week and called on the interior ministry officials. The sources said the NWFP police, in a joint effort with the Islamabad and foreign police, recovered the women and brought them to Islamabad from where they were flown back to Kazakhstan.
