KALAYA, May 2: A witness, who deposed before a tribal jirga in a murder case in the Kandow area of Orakzai Agency, was killed by the accused after the jirga concluded.

Ajab, the deceased, deposed before the jirga that Janat Shah had killed a man of Sheikhan tribe. Soon after the meeting, Janat Shah attacked Ajab, killing him on the spot, and fled.
