HYDERABAD, May 2: The second semester examination of academic session 2001 and first semester examination of academic session 2002 of the departments of the University of Sindh, Jamshoro, will start from May 18.

No student with zero attendance will be allowed to appear in the examination.

The decision to this effect was taken at a meeting of the deans of the university held on Thursday.

The meeting discussed the course work in the departments, schedule, attendance and timetable for the conduct of the semester examinations.

The meeting decided that the forms for the examinations would be made available at the concerned departments from May 4.

Last date for submission of the forms at the concerned departments was fixed at May 10.

The admit cards of the students will be provided in their departments up to May 17.

It was also decided that without the admit card, no candidates would be allowed to appear in the examination.

The meeting further decided that the examination centres would be monitored by a committee of the deans and senior professors.

The counters at the Habib Bank Limited, Jamshoro branch, will be increased for the facility of the students to submit their examination fee without any difficulty.

The meeting was presided over by the dean, faculty of commerce and business administration, and registrar of the university, Professor Ferozuddin Kazi.

IBA: The director, Institute of Business Administration (IBA), University of Sindh, Jamshoro, announced here on Thursday that the viva voce examination of Business Internship for special examination, 2000, of BBA (Hons) part-III and MBA (final), Hons, and pass side would be conducted on May 4 at 10:00am in the office of the director, IBA.
