LAHORE, April 29: The Education Department secretary said on Monday that the FA, FSc annual examinations for 2002 will start according to the schedule on May 11.

The secretary claimed that arrangements had been completed by all eight boards to hold the examinations.

Several board officials had said earlier that the intermediate examinations might be delayed due to a pen-down strike by employees of the boards for 11 days.

The Punjab Boards Employees’ Federation called off the strike on Saturday following an assurance by the secretary that the new pay scales would be implemented at the earliest.
