Woman strangled on suspicion

KASUR, April 29: A woman was strangled to death on Monday by two brothers on suspicion of having relations with their father at Saraiser Hithar village near Pattoki.

Munir Masih, Siddique Masih and their mother Veero Bibi had time and again barred Hanifan Bibi of Chak 21 to mend her ways, but to no avail. On Monday, the two brothers with the help of their two companions strangled Hanifan Bibi.

Pattoki Saddar police have registered a case.

GIRL ABDUCTED: A young girl was abducted on Monday by three culprits at nearby Patowan village.

Naziran Bibi had betrothed her daughter Saima Bibi (13) to Faryad Ali about two years ago. But due to his bad habits, she broke the engagement of her daughter. To take revenge, Faryad along with his accomplices including, Saleem and Amanat, abducted Saima.

Kasur Saddar police have instituted a case.
