HYDERABAD, April 23: The district coordination officer (DCO), Hyderabad, Mir Hussain Ali, asked the director general, HDA, to stay the construction of commercial plots on CS NoF-1352 of the Hyderabad Sindh Law College on an application filed by the Naib Nazim, union council No.9, Hyderabad city, Shahabuddin Munshi.
The Naib Nazim in his application has stated that the on-going construction was absolutely illegal.
The DCO said in the stay order, “commercial construction on an amenity plot should not have been allowed. I am also not sure whether public objections were called in the press and whether commercialization charges were collected. Furthermore, the ownership is also disputed and under review. Therefore, further construction be stayed till the matter is re-examined”.
