THATTA, April 11: As many as 3,700 closed schools will be reopened in Sindh.

This was said by additional secretary of education department, Sindh, Karim Bux Sarohi, while speaking at an open kutchery here on Thursday.

To overcome the shortage of subject teachers in Thatta educational institutions, he said 500 more lecturers will be appointed very soon.

The government had provided Rs61 million for the renovation, repair of primary and middle schools in Thatta district and for purchase of furniture for them, he said.
