Four bandits arrested

SUKKUR, April 10: The Sukkur police arrested four bandits and recovered TT pistols, dagger and a government rifle from their possession on Tuesday night.

On information that some outlaws were hiding at the roadside with intention of committing crime, the Dubber police raided the hideout.

The dacoits, when saw the police, opened indiscriminate fire on the police. The police returned the fire. After the exchange of fire, which continued for half an hour, the police arrested all the the four outlaws.

Those arrested were identified as Punnal, son of Pinjal, Baigio, son of Troka, Abdul Shakoor, son of Abdul Hameed, and Ayub, son of Shamsuddin (All by cast Jagirani).

The investigation revealed that they were involved in a robbery.
