BSO demands college in Hub

Published April 11, 2002

HUB, April 10: The activists of the Baloch Students Organization (Manzoor) held a rally here on Wednesday to protest against the local administration and the provincial governments for ignoring their repeated demands to establish an intermediate college in the Hub town.

They chanted slogans against the district and provincial governments and gathered in front of the Baldia Rest House after marching on the RCD Highway.

Sami Baloch, Noor Ahmed and other leaders of the BSO criticized the behaviour of district Nazim Jam Kamal and reiterated their demand for an intermediate college in the town.

The Lasbela district has only one college in Bela, some 150km from Hub. After matriculation, the students have to travel to Karachi or Bela to continue their further studies. But the poor students discontinue their studies due to the huge expenses.
