PESHAWAR, April 6: One of the kidnapped doctors, Rahim Bangash, assistant professor of anatomy,  Khyber Medical College, return home, remaining in captivity of kidnappers for ten days.

“No ransom is paid for my release,” he claimed, adding that it was the pressure of police and the political administration which forced the kidnappers to release him.

Dr Rahim Bangash was kidnapped for ransom from Darra Adamkhel when he was going to Peshawar from Kohat on March 25.

Talking to newsmen at his residence here, Dr Rahim Bangash said that he was on his way to Peshawar from Kohat when he reached Dara Adamkhel a car and a truck sandwiched his vehicle to block his way to escape.

Six unidentified persons alighted from the car and pulled out weapons and took him on gunpoint to unknown location, he said. He added that he was kept in caves for 10 days.

Dr Rahim Bangash said the attitude of the kidnappers was very harsh by March 30 and than he felt sudden change in their attitude.
