Traders postpone strike

SHIKARPUR, April 3: A strike which was scheduled to be observed by the traders union of Shikarpur here on Thursday was postponed.

The strike was postponed after District Nazim Mohammad Arif Khan Mehar held a meeting with the president of the union, Haji Nisar Ahmed Memon, and assured his support to redress the grievances.

They are demanding to recover property tax while considering Shikarpur in D-category, ensuring law and order, improvement in the sanitation and stoppage of wrong meter reading and excessive electricity bills.—Correspondent
