KARACHI, March 24: In a late night decision Sunday, the PCB has reversed its decision to release its players for the final round matches of the National One-day Championship.

According to sources, the decision has been reversed on the instance of team management.

“The PCB and the selectors had agreed to release the players for the final round matches. But the team management and some of the senior players pressed for the continuation of the training camp,” sources said.

However, they added that further discussions would be held Monday when PCB chairman Lt Gen Tauqir Zia arrives in Lahore.
