SAHIWAL, March 24: A deranged person killed a constable and injured an ASI seriously on Sunday at City police station, Chichawatni.
Constable Naveed Aslam was on guard duty when accused Zulfiqar entered the police station and attacked him with a sharp-edged weapon, killing him instantly. The outlaw also wounded ASI Raja Zafar seriously when he came to his colleague’s rescue.
Meanwhile, muharrar Akhtar and other policemen rushed to the spot and overpowered the outlaw. His parents disclosed that Zulfikar was mentally retarded person and had been once subjected to torture by an ASI.
Meanwhile, accused Zulfiqar said he had wanted to kill all the policemen.
