PCB revises one-day schedule

LAHORE, March 18: The final of the ongoing National One-day Cricket Championship now will be held at Gaddafi Stadium April 4 instead of April 7.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) revised the remaining schedule of the event Monday.

The decision means all national players will now participate in the competition, prior to their departure for Sharjah April 6.

According to the revised schedule, the final round of the competition will now start March 26 instead of 27th.

Both the day/night semifinals now will be played on April 2 simultaneously at National Stadium, Karachi and Gaddafi Stadium. Earlier, the semifinals were to be held on April 4 and April 5.

Meanwhile, the PCB also announced a cash prize of Rs 100,000  for the winners of the championship. The runners-up will get Rs  50,000 while the losing semifinalists will get Rs 25,000 apiece. Man-of-the-Match in the final and semifinals will be given Rs 10,000 each while Rs 10,000 will also given to the best  batsman, bowler, fielder  and wicket-keeper respectively of  the competition.

Similarly, the Man-of-the-Match for all the 12 matches of the final round will be given Rs 5,000 each.
