All-round show by Naqvi

KARACHI, March 15: A fine all-round performance by left-hander Mohammad Ali Naqvi, enabled Tapal CC register an easy 40-runs victory over Shaheen Gymkhana and move into the semifinals of the M.S. Baloch cricket tournament played at the KGA ground Friday.

Batting first Tapal CC reached 205 for six in their 35 allotted overs through Mubashir Ahmed (80), Ali Naqvi (50) and Shahid Iqbal (25). Rehman bagged two wickets for 87 runs for the fielding side.

Shaheed Gymkhana were restricted to 165 for eight wickets in their 35 allotted overs. Ali Naqvi three for 25 and Shahid Iqbal three for 45, bowled well for the winners.
