LAHORE, March 11: The Alliance for Restoration of Democracy announced on Monday that it will hold at all costs a public meeting at Mochi Gate on March 23.

A meeting of the Punjab ARD held here with Qasim Zia in the chair formed a committee which would formally inform the Ravi Town Nazim about the decision on Tuesday “so that the authorities could make necessary arrangements,” reporters were told after the meeting.

When asked why the ARD had selected the Mochi Gate, Rana Zulqarnain, a provincial ARD leader, the site had been selected for its political importance. He said the alliance could consider a change in the venue.
