PESHAWAR, Feb 25: District Nazim of Swat, Dr Mehboob-ur-Rehman has announced Rs1.2 million for the construction of a small peace of road between Saidu Sharif and Marghuzar which was washed away during the recent flood.

The amount was announced by the District Nazim during the inspection of flood affected road near the village Serai.

Nazim of Saidu Sharif Union Council, Fazal Mabood Khan, EDO, Works and Services Swat, Sheer Ali Khan, EDO, Finance Swat, Shuaib Khan, and a large number of people were present on the occasion.

He appreciated the efficiency of C&W department Swat for the temporary arrangement and starting traffic immediately during the Eid holidays.

He explained that in the new system all problems of the people were now being solved within no time on the district level according to the wishes and needs of the people.
