KARACHI: Govt announces Eid holidays

KARACHI, Feb 18: The government of Sindh has declared Feb 22 and 23 holidays throughout the province on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha for all offices.

Autonomous, semi-autonomous bodies, corporations and local councils under the administrative control of Sindh government will remain closed on the days.

KU: The Karachi University and its affiliated colleges will remain closed from Feb 22 to 25 on account of Eid holidays.

This was announced by the spokesman for the university in a statement on Monday. He further said the teaching process will resume on Feb 26.

SSUET: Sir Syed University of Engineering and its affiliated Institutes Aligarh Institute of Technology and Fahimun Nisa Memorial Aligarh Institute of Technology for Girls will remain closed from Feb 22 to 25.—APP/PPI
