Grenade explodes at cops’ house

LAKKI MARWAT, Jan 30: Terror swept across village Nali Chak, after a hand grenade, thrown at the residence of police officials, exploded with a big bang.

According to reports reaching here, some unidentified persons threw a hand grenade at the residence of SHO Mohammad Iqabl Khan and SHO Asmatullah Khan in a village Nali Chak, some 40km off from here.

No causality has been reported but as the device blew with a hair-raising bang, the unknown attackers also opened fire on the gate of the house.

This forced the nearby villages to stay indoors. The incident happened at 10pm on Wednesday.
