Colours for sportswomen

LAHORE, Jan 25: Twenty-five sportswomen of seven different games will be awarded Colours by the Punjab University on Monday at Senate Hall Old Campus for performing well for the university in the last season.

The Punjab University vice-chancellor General  (retd.) Arshad Mehmood will award the Colours.

Following sportswomen will be honoured:

Athletics: Sumaira Sattar (College of Physical Education, Lahore).

Volleyball: Kulsoom Najam, Mehreen Butt (Lahore College), Sumaira Latif, Raheela Aslam, Hajra Akram (College of Physical Education, Lahore).

Basketball: Fareeha Farooq, Saadia Sattar, Kiran Ihsan, Munanza  Nazir, Sumaira Sattar (Physial Education  College, Lahore), Sadaf Hamid (F.C College, Lahore).

Badminton:  Rabia Malik (Physical  Education  College, Lahore), Beena Elahi (Fine Arts Punjab University).

Tennis: Parvin Rana, Shazia Saleem (Government College, Jhang), Nausheen Pervez (Punjab University Mathematics Deptt.).

Table tennis: Kiran Kaukab (Government College, Madina Town, Faisalabad), Sidra Javed (Kinnaird College Lahore).

Hockey: Bushra Saadia, Uzma Nadia (Government College, Toba Tek Singh), Fauzia Naurin, Zile Huma, Nazish Munir, Aqeela Nasim (Punjab  University  Teaching  Department),  Furrukh  Bashir (Government College, Madina Town, Faisalabad).
