KARACHI, Dec 6: About 10 children were bitten by a stray mad dog in Baldia Town on Thursday. The victims were taken to Civil Hospital.

The Baldia Town police said that they were informed about the mad dog, and sent a mobile to the area with special guns to kill dogs, but the mad dog had already been killed by the area people.

However, the hospital sources did not confirm whether the victims were administered anti-rabies vaccine or not, whose availability depends on stocks which run on a day-to-day basis.

Sources at the hospital said that a few days back the stock of the vaccine had exhausted at the hospital.
