Rs30m ADP for Lakki Marwat presented

LAKKI MARWAT, Nov 23: The Zila Nazim of Lakki Marwat, Humayun Saifullah Khan, has said that the ground-breaking ceremony of the Kurram Tangi dam will be held on March 23.

Speaking at the district council session on Thursday, he said that President Pervez Musharraf during his meeting with the Zila Nazims of the NWFP on Tuesday had assured that the inauguration would be held on March 23.

An annual development programme of Rs30 million for the financial year 2001-02 was presented before the council for approval.

Councillors Niamatullah Khan, Shahsawar Khan, Zafrullah and Dr Khalid Latif took part in the proceedings. The council would meet again on Saturday.
