Hu Jintao, Jamali meet today

BEIJING, April 23: Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Jamali and Chinese President Hu Jintao will meet on Saturday. Official sources told APP here the two leaders would discuss matters relating to bilateral and regional interest.

The meeting will take place in Boao city in Hainan province on the sidelines of the third annual conference of the Economic Forum for Asia being held there the same day. He will also address the meeting. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Jamali arrived in Boao on Friday afternoon.

The prime minister arrived here from Vientiane after a three-day state visit to Laos. He was driven from Meilan airport at Haikou to Boao in China's southernmost province of Hainan. During meeting with the Chinese president, the two leaders would discuss different facets of Pakistan-China ties.

The two countries enjoy strong friendly relations and the leaders of the two countries meet regularly to update information on latest regional and international scene.
