German firm to invest in Sialkot

SIALKOT, April 27: A German multinational investor company Metro group has shown keen interest in making maximum investment in Sialkot, besides launching some joint ventures in different fields of trade. This was stated by Punjab minister for industries and investment Muhammad Ajmal Cheema while talking to the newsmen on Wednesday. Sialkot tehsil nazim Muhammad Akmal Cheema was also present on this occasion.

He said that Pakistan was an ideal country for foreign investment.

Earlier, a delegation of Metro group comprising Mr Ralf Puetmann, Mr Thomas Engerlikamp, Mr Frans Muller, Henry OE Birr and Mr Bernd Hanemann visited the tanneries near Sambrial and leather industrial units in Sialkot.
