DCO’s transfer demanded

MANDI BAHAUDDIN, April 26: The District Bar Association has adopted a condemnation resolution against DCO Sheikh Abdul Sattar, demanding his immediate transfer. Addressing the general council meeting on Tuesday here, former DBA presidents Farooq Ahmed Gondal, Ghulam Ali Sahi, Noorullah Warriach and others condemned the alleged misbehaviour of the DCO with bar member Nasir Ahmad Salfi.

They said the bar would launch agitation next week if the Punjab government failed to transfer him.

DBA president Safdar Hayat Bosaal announced half-day strike and boycott of courts for the rest of the day.

The DBA president also announced a protest rally on Wednesday at 9am which would end in front of the DCO office.
