Mr Pakistan title for Ashfaq

LAHORE, March 6: Mohammad Ashfaq Butt of Punjab was declared Mr Pakistan-2005 and Nisar Ahmad of Balochistan Mr Junior Pakistan at the Al-hamra Hall No 1 on Sunday.

In the final competition, Ashfaq competed with Khaliq Ali (Wapda), Babar Tufail (Railways) and Shabbir Ahmed (Railways) and claimed the title after impressing the jury.

Ashfaq had won Mr Punjab title in Faisalabad on Feb 25.

In the junior category, Nisar tamed Kishwar Ali (NWFP) in the final to win the title.

Junior Mr Pakistan:

62 kgs: Kishwar Ali (NWFP), Anwar Zaib (NWFP), Waqas Manzoor (Punjab).

Above 62 kgs: Nisar Ahmad (Balochistan), Shahjehan Gull (Punjab), Babar Hussain (Sindh).

Mr Junior: Nisar Ahmad.

Mr Pakistan:

65 kgs: Khaliq Ali (Wapda), Asif Masih (Railways), Hafiz Manzoor (Punjab).

70kgs: Babar Tufail (Railways), Mohammad Ahmad (Railways), Sheraz (NWFP).

75 kgs: Shabbir Ahmed (Railways), Ali Imran (Railways), Malik Shafqat Ali (Police).

Above 75 kgs: Mohammad Ashfaq Butt (Punjab), Tariq Zafar (Sindh), Shaukat Shahzad (Capital Zone).

Mr Pakistan: Mohammad Ashfaq Butt.
