DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Oct 29: Maulana Amanullah, NWFP chief of JUI, on Monday called upon Gen Musharraf to establish a broad-based government in Pakistan before demanding similar government in Afghanistan.

Speaking at a rally recognized on the call by Mullah Omar of Taliban, supreme commander of Taliban, he protested over Pakistan government’s Afghanistan policy.

More than 5,000 protesters participated in this rally. It was led by Maulana Allauddin, leader of the Defence of Pakistan-Afghanistan Council (DPAC), Khalifa Abdul Qayyum, Naib Amir of the SSP and Khawaja Mohammad Zahid, finance secretary of the JUI.

Maulana Amanullah warned that the present policy could be dangerous for Pakistan.

He said thousands of Afghans were coming to Pakistan for want of refuge against the US strikes, which were destroying Pakistan.
