KARACHI, Nov 20: About 25,000 regular and private candidates have been registered for the HSC supplementary examinations 2004 commencing on December 1.

The Board of Intermediate Education, Karachi, has planned to set up 48 centres for boy and girl candidates belonging to the Science, Humanities and Commerce groups at 40 colleges and eight higher secondary schools in the city. Examinations would be held in the afternoon shift from 2pm to 5pm.

According to the BIE sources, the papers of HSC Science and Commerce will start from December 1, while those of Humanities will begin on December 3.

It was further learnt that admit cards of private candidates had already been sent on their given address; however, those failing to get them in due time should approach the BIE in the last week of November, added a source.

In the meantime, the BIE controller of examination, Prof Mohammed Amin Khalid, said on Saturday that admit cards of college students were ready for delivery.
