MANSEHRA, Nov 3: Differences have cropped up between students of two institutions. The Polytechnic Institute in Mansehra was established in 1995 and was temporarily housed in the building of the Technical Vocational Centre.

The polytechnic institute still has no building of its own.

It is learnt that the students and teachers of the two technical institutes have been involved in serious quarrels and clashes.

Some days ago a protest demonstration was staged by some students and teachers of the vocational centre.

They had marched up to the Government Commerce College chanting slogans against officials of the technical education, NWFP.

Mohammad Nadeem, principal of the vocational centre, when contacted by this correspondent declined to comment on the situation.
