SHIKARPUR: 669 youths to get jobs

SHIKARPUR, Nov 2: About 669 educated youths will get jobs in the education department, out of 9,143 candidates who had passed written test.

Shikarpur EDO (education) Allahdad Memon told this correspondent that about 12,744 candidates had appeared in the written test and 9,143 candidates qualified for 669 vacancies.

The vacant posts included 17 for male and 13 female high school teachers, 6 for male workshop instructors, 4 for senior physical training instructors, 148 male and 34 female junior school teachers, 5 male Sindhi language teachers, 27 male and 15 female drawing teachers, 14 male and 5 female oriental studies teachers, 9 male and 3 female assistant workshop instructors, 36 male and 11 female junior physical training instructors, and 123 male and 1999 female primary school teachers.

He said that posting orders would be issued after interviews, which would be conducted by committees after formulating a policy of recruitment by the Sindh government very soon.
