The bus (PKM-786) was going from Tank to Karachi. When it reached near Taunsa Sharif, its driver made an attempt to save a four-year-old girl who was crossing the road at the time. In doing so the bus overturned after crushing the girl, resulting in the death of four of those on board.

The dead were identified as Wasal Khan, Mulazim, Kazim, and Arif.

The minor girl, however, could not be identified.

The injured were shifted to the district headquarters hospital. Bus driver Amanullah fled from the scene. -APP
