QUETTA: Blast at Gwadar hotel

QUETTA, Sept 25: An explosion occurred at the rooftop of a hotel in coastal town Gwadar late on Saturday evening. However, no body was killed or injured in the blast, police sources said while confirming the explosion by phone.

According to the sources, two persons came in the Rehmani Hotel and asked for tea but left the hotel without taking it. After five minutes, there was an explosion at the rooftop of the hotel. The roof was slightly damaged.

Soon after the explosion, senior police officials and other concerned authorities rushed to the site and started investigations.

It was a local made cracker-like device, which went off causing big bang. A case has been registered and further investigations were on.
