APHC chief meets Kasuri

NEW DELHI, Sept 4: Syed Ali Shah Gillani, the chairman of All Parties Hurriyat Conference, on Saturday held a meeting with Pakistan's Foreign Minister Khurshid Mehmood Kasuri here at the Pakistan High Commission.

Mr Gillani was accompanied by Jammu and Kashmir People's League chairman Sheikh Abdul Aziz at the meeting, which lasted for two hours.

Leaders of the Left Front, including CPI (M) secretary-general Harkishan Singh Surjeet, CPI president A.B. Bhardhan and leader of Revolutionary and Socialist Party Abni Roy also held a meeting with Mr Kasuri, which continued for more than three hours.

The foreign minister invited them to visit Pakistan, which they accepted.

They are likely to travel to Pakistan in November this year. -APP
