PESHAWAR, June 2: A central leader of Pakistan People’s Party (Sherpao), Sikandar Hayat Khan Sherpao, has called upon the authorities to recover kidnapped trader Zahid Ali of Charsadda district.

He deplored that despite the lapse of 10 days the authorities had failed to recover the kidnapped businessmen.

The Pakistan Peoples Party (S) leader said the kidnapping had also caused concern among businessmen.

He said such incidents would create fear in the business community and the people, which would have negative effect on the commercial activities in the province.

Sikandar Sherpao asked the government to adopt appropriate measures for discouraging such heinous incidents.—APP
