LAHORE, June 27: The national cricket training camp begins at Qadhafi Stadium on Monday to finalise the Pakistan team for the upcoming Asia Cup that starts in Sri Lanka from July 16.

Camp commandant Haroon Rashid said on Sunday that probables had started arriving at the National Academy.

The newly appointed trainer Murray Stevenson would arrive on Tuesday while the new coach Bob Woolmer on July 2, he said.

The national players busy playing county cricket in England would also join the camp on Tuesday, he said but failed give any information about paceman Shoaib Akhtar's availability. "I have no exact information about his arrival," he said.

Shoaib is playing for Durham county in England, though he is on PCB list of 26 probables for the camp.
