KARACHI, May 8: The written test for the recruitment of teachers in Sindh will be conducted in the last week of the current month. This was announced by Sindh Education Secretary Ghulam Ali Pasha, while presiding over a meeting on Saturday.

The executive district officers of the 16 districts in the province, along with their representatives, attended the meeting.

Mr Pasha said that the written test would be conducted by a private institution, at the educational institutions in the district headquarters in the province.

He assured that the test would be carried out in a fair and transparent manner.

Date extended: Sindh Education Department has extended the last date from May 8 to May 13, for submission of applications for jobs in non-teaching cadre.

The decision had been taken to provide relief to those candidates who could not submit the applications so far, an official handout said on Saturday.-APP/PPI
