NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, April 24: Two children died in the Civil Hospital here on Saturday owing to non-availability of oxygen. An injured boy, Mohammad Aleem Arain, 10, of Faqir Mohammad village , was brought to the hospital where he died because of the non-availability of oxygen.

A new-born baby, son of Ghulam Sarwar Bohio, was brought from Khair Mohammad Bohio village to the hospital owing to some chest problem but the neo-natal could not survive as he could not be given oxygen.

When this correspondent contacted the causality department of the hospital, no doctor was available to comment on the grave situation.

PROTEST: A crowd blocked the National Highway near Khan Wahan for about half an hour to protest against the snatching of four motorcycles by five unidentified bandits late on Thursday night.

Later, the highway was opened on the assurance of the police who followed the accused and recovered two motorcycles.
