KARACHI, April 24: The 16th meeting of the council of complaints, PEMRA, Sindh region, here on Saturday highlighted issues regarding complaints and rectification of complaints against Cable TV Operators.

The meeting, presided over by the City Naib Nazim Tariq Hassan, advised the cable operators to maintain quality services and ensure instant rectification of complaints of subscribers.

The council also highlighted the issues to be discussed in a seminar next month. The council of complaints took strong notice of increasing number of complaints of subscribers against one of the major cable operators.

In addition, the council was briefed about team visits to different CTV head ends for inspection or compliance of technical standards formulated by Pemra for cable operators.

Waseem Ahmed explained the role of Pemra council of complaints, and budget for expansion of the council was also discussed.-APP
