KHAR (Bajaur Agency), April 17: Six persons of the same family were killed and five others received injuries when a vehicle plunged into a road side ravine.

The deceased and injured persons were travelling in a pick-up bearing registration number BJ 52022. While negotiating a turn at Loai Sum area, about 15 kms from here, it fell into a ravine.

The deceased were identified as Imran, Amanul Haq, Hazrat Khan, Jan Mohammad, Haji Bahadur and Aslam Khan.

The deceased and injured persons were going to attend a marriage ceremony at Anzari village.

The injured were rushed to the Agency Headquarters Hospital from where three of the critically injured persons were shifted to Peshawar.
