PN logistics gets new chief

KARACHI, April 10: Vice-Admiral Farooq Rashid, on Saturday, handed over the Logistics Command of Pakistan Navy to the newly appointed Commander Logistics, Commodore Nayyar Iqbal in an impressive change-of-command ceremony held here at PN Dockyard.

On the occasion,the outgoing Commander Logistics Vice-Admiral Farooq Rashid presented an insignia to the newly appointed Commander Logistics Commodore Nayyar Iqbal as a mark of handing over the command.

Earlier, on his arrival, Commodore Nayyar Iqbal was presented guard of honour by a smartly turned out contingent. He inspected the guard and appreciated its turn out.

He was also introduced to staff officers and Commanding Officers of PN establishments under the Logistics Command. -APP
