SAHIWAL, April 3: Additional Sessions Judge Syed Maaroof Ahmed Ali has granted pre-arrest bail to Pir Ajam Shah Khagga, the PML(Q) district Naib Nazim Sadar in the case of murder of Aslam Maadhar, a kiln labourer.

Farid Town police has been directed to produce the record of the case on April 7.

Pir Ajam Shah Khagga had shot dead Aslam Maadhar in January last in the presence of people in Chak 87/6-R.

Since then the accused has been managing his pre-arrest bail.

HELD: Civil Lines police on Saturday arrested former Zila Council member Muhammad Ali Gadhi for cheating and impounded the jeep being used by him.

The jeep bore the registration number (SLK-7101) which was allotted to a tractor.

On the report of the excise inspector, the police registered case under section 420 PPC.
